The concept for Sitestudy.com was originally conceived by Pamela Webb, AIA and Debbara Hendrix, AIA in the late 1980’s.  These two Oregon architects saw a need for a continuing education program that allowed architects to receive credits for doing what they naturally do when visiting a building or site.  Architects critique, evaluate and expand their own creative processes by studying the built environment. Pamela and Debbara developed the Sitestudy.com program with these ideas in mind.

In 2004 Sitestudy.com changed hands. Jay Fulkerson, AIA LEED AP, and his wife, Gina Burns BSD, MRP are the current owners of the business.  Jay is an architect in private practice in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Cincinnati and an M.ARCH from North Carolina State with a concentration in sustainable design.  Gina has a Bachelor of Science in Design from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina.
